Fantastic vintage for Crocedimezzo! The summer, which started late due to the rains, did not have any stress related problems due to excess water in the vineyards.

The constant work in our vineyards, without the use of herbicides, combined with a beautiful month of September gave us with grapes of extreme excellence.

The prolonged fermentation enhanced the superb structure, characterized by very noble and soft tannins, revealing the potential of this vintage.

The period of aging in the cellar, as tradition dictates at Croce di Mezzo, by use of Slavonian and Allier oak barrels of medium size (25 and 32 hl) intensified the enormous potential in this vintage and gave even further quality and refinement to an already excellent wine. Truly a vintage to enjoy both now and over time.
