An important year with a stable climate that gave us very healty grapes. Harvest, as is custom for our estate, was early October, taking taking into account that our vineyards are situated at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level.
The fermentation underlined this classic vintage thanks to the optimal course of the yeasts without excessive concerns related to temperature control.
The period of aging in oak, that characterizes our Rosso di Montalcino, which thanks 10 months in the barrels allow us to encapsulate the noble tannins in the refined oak in our new cellar, yet again resulted in an excellent wine with an unmistakable flavor that reflects our thorough and rigorous work and extreme care for the detail throughout the whole production process.
Another great red wine that unites freshness, characteristic of the Rosso di Montalcino, with a great structure capable of satisfying even the most demanding and suitable also for bold food pairings
